Spirit-filled
As we enter a summer filled with the promises of warmer weather, vacations and picnics, we also use this time to deepen our relationship our relationship with God. We celebrate the miracle of Pentecost and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. Filled with the Spirit, we become better advocates for peace and justice within our church and our society. During June we remember and celebrate the final eradication of American slavery on Juneteenth. We also honor the blessings and sacrifices of fathers everywhere on the third Sunday of the month and nurture the next generation through Vacation Bible School and other summertime activities.
