The United Methodist Church has created an Immigration Task Force to take action on the behalf of migrants all over the world, including those who arrive here in the United States every year escaping violence and extreme poverty.
The General Commission on Religion and Race is supporting the work of the Task Force by providing church leaders with a free infographic explaining the various ways their church can support immigrants in their community.
The infographic educates church members on the rights of immigrants under U.S. law, while also providing links on how to become a sanctuary church and connect with other groups and non-profits advocating on behalf of undocumented immigrants. The infographic is a fun and easy way to educate and engage local churches on how to serve and protect immigrants in the United States.
