Bishop Gregory Palmer, of the denomination's West Ohio area, delivered the Episcopal Address. He spoke about a dream of the church standing before God and one another humbly and free of our hubris and self-sufficiency. He asked, "Do our relationships lack the kind of depth that engenders real growth, change, and transformation. And he lamented, "our capacity to turn on each other," something he said "is destroying our sour and underserving our mission. He ended by reminding the delegates, "If we go, God will be with us."
