Bishop Sally Dyck of the Northern Illinois Annual Conference was the preacher for the Friday, May 13 worship. In her message, entitled, "Go…Learn…Mercy" she called on the United Methodist Church not to add to incompatibilities, but rather to consider "why we have one category of humanity that we declare to be incompatible with Christian teaching.
