Dear Church Leader,
United Methodist Student Day (UMSD) is November 22, 2022—Five weeks away! (But you may celebrate Student Day on a date that is convenient for your congregation).Gifts to UMSD offering support undergraduate and graduate college students. Help our students unite their faith with their spiritual foundation.
When an academic mentor informed Emma Storer about the Gift of Hope Scholarship, supported by the annual United Methodist Student Day offering, she applied for the scholarship. "It was so meaningful," said Storer, "to know that someone out there, a brother or sister in Christ, supported me, regardless of never meeting me face to face. That is a godly act to me, for which I am incredibly fortunate.”

- Use the 2022 Special Sundays planning calendar located in your Pastor and Leader’s Kit to implement your promotion schedule (see pages 21-24).You may adjust the planning calendar schedule to fit your congregation's needs.

- Select the person(s) to lead the celebration:
- Include church council or equivalent, worship, education leaders, and other appropriate church leaders in your planning team.
- Announce the celebration date to your congregation promptly. Customize or use the information below to inform your congregation about the United Methodist Student Day celebration. Publish this content on your social media channels, websites, and newsletters to your members.
