GC2016 Audio: Something is communicated through the interpretations

Important in our global church of the UMC to have these gatherings, and yet the challenges if English is not your first language are many. Listen to what Isaac Bodje from Cote d'Ivoire shares, with his translator, Isaac, speaking to this interviewer just after the first morning plenary. He says "translations are not perfect to the context, the devices "hurt the ear", but something is yet communicated. We must come back to the Holy Spirit when the words are not perfect and the challenges rise up." ( French and English are spoken in this interview. ) Robin Blair has the report.
