"We talked about the calls to be faithful and where we heard God moving," observed Rev. Katie Z. Dawson, Iowa clergy delegate, and member of the Faith and Order legislative committee. "We tackled most of our legislation in the normal way," she said, but when it came to some of the contentious issues they "just opened the floor for conversation…it was really amazing."
