At the late morning plenary on Tuesday, Bishop Bruce Ough, president of the Council of Bishops addressed the General Conference. He said "his heart, and heart of the bishops are broken" over the disunity of the gathering. He affirmed the bishops were here to serve the church and did not support any proposal of a split that may come forward this week. Michael Rich has the story.
