Empowering African Communications
Shaping the Future of the UMC
United Methodist Communications (UMCom) has long been committed to empowering church communicators and strengthening communications across the church, especially on the African continent. In just a few weeks, United Methodist Communications will gather almost 50 gifted communicators from annual conference across Africa for a crucial networking event in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. These communicators will meet to strengthen their technical/digital skills and capacity to share The UMC’s message of hope and transformation.
We’ve set a bold and daring goal to raise $50,000 by October 14 to help cover travel, accommodation, and resources for the participants. This event is essential for empowering African voices and ensuring that the future of The UMC is communicated effectively and faithfully across the continent, but the clock is ticking. Give now to ensure these voices are heard and that these communicators are empowered to lead more effectively in this critical time in the life of the Church.
