United Methodist Communications (UMCom) provides leadership for the denomination in communication, public relations and promotion of the general funds and worldwide programs of the denomination. It includes The United Methodist Church’s official news gathering and distribution agency and provides The United Methodist Church’s official website, UMC.org, to serve church members and seekers. UMCom also produces resources and communications-related services and training to support the ministries of clergy and lay leaders in local churches and annual conferences around the world in the field of communications.
